Silat Cekak berasal dari Kedah. Pernah diamalkan oleh panglima-panglima kerajaan Kedah di zaman Kesultanan Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin II. Panglima Ismail, salah seorang panglima kanan kerajaan Kedah yang pernah menewaskan seorang batak bernama Tuah (bukan Hang Tuah) telah menurunkan ilmu silat ini kepada Panglima Tok Rashid. Manakala Panglima Tok Rashid pula telah mengamanahkan Silat Cekak ini kepada Yahya Said yang berasal dari Batu Kurau, Taiping sebagai ‘pemegang amanah’.

Panglima Tok Rashid meninggalkan wasiat kepada Yahya Said yang ketika itu berumur 20 tahun: “Jika ada anak cucuku di Kedah hendak belajar silat ini, hendaklah kau pulangkan kembali”.

Silat ini telah terpendam selama 40 tahun sehinggalah Y.M. Ustaz Haji Hanafi bin Haji Ahmad yang berasal dari Kedah, telah bertemu dengan Yahya Said. Oleh kerana minatnya yang amat mendalam terhadap silat ini, Y.M. Ustaz Haji Hanafi bin Haji Ahmad telah dapat mewarisi kembali seni pusaka bangsa ini daripada Yahya Said. Pada 5 Ramadhan 1385 Hijrah, bersamaan 28 Disember 1965, bertempat di rumah Shafie Darus, Batu 4 3/4, Jalan Gunung Alor Setar, Kedah. Silat Cekak berjaya dilahirkan kembali menerusi Perkumpulan Seni Sari Budaya Sri Kedah yang ditubuhkan pada Februari 1964.

Kemudian pada 19 Ogos 1971, Persatuan Seni Silat Cekak Malaysia didaftarkan dan diasaskan oleh YM Al-Marhum Ustaz Hanafi bin Haji Ahmad Pada tahun 1975, Persatuan Seni Silat Cekak Malaysia telah menyaksikan logo baru baginya yang mana ianya juga telah diasaskan oleh Y.M. Al-Marhum Ustaz Haji Hanafi bin Haji Ahmad, Guru Utama merangkap Presiden PSSCM.

Beliau telah meninggal dunia pada 13 Ogos, 1986 setelah menerajui PSSCM dan mengembangkan silat ini ke seluruh negara selama 21 tahun. Tanggungjawab ini diteruskan pula oleh Y.M. Haji Ishak bin Itam selaku Guru Utama merangkap Presiden PSSCM pada 21 September, 1986. Majlis pengijazahan penuntut baru pertama kali dilakukan oleh beliau di Universiti Pertanian Malaysia pada 13 Oktober, 1986. Y.M. Haji Ishak Itam terus menerajui PSSCM sehingga beliau menyerahkan pucuk pimpinan Silat Cekak kepada Y.Bhg. Datuk Haji Maideen Bin Kadir Shah pada 3 Jun 2009 dan secara beradat pada 23 Jun 2009.

Seterusnya hingga sekarang cawangan-cawangan dan kelas latihan PSSCM telah berkembang di seluruh Semenanjung Malaysia dengan pembukaan kelas-kelas latihan di cawangan-cawangan negeri dan di institusi pengajian tinggi awam dan swasta di seluruh Semenanjung Malaysia.

Little Trees Air Fresheners are designed by CAR-FRESHNER Corporation, New York, USA. They are the producer of the world-famous Little Trees Air Fresheners, those distinctive Tree-shaped air fresheners for cars and others freshening purposes.

Lapierre is a famous sports bicycle brand from France which was founded and started as a small shop in Dijon, France in 1946 by cycling enthusiast Gaston Lapierre. SKTC mula beroperasi sepenunya pada 1 Januari 1997 dengan murid berjumlah 660 orang dan 36 orang guru. Jumlah ini melebihi jangkaan awal iaitu sejumlah 450 orang yang akan mendaftarkan diri dari sekolah-sekolah berhampiran.
Encik Jaafar Bin Haron adalah guru besar yang dipertanggungjawabkan menerajui pentadbiran sekolah ini sehinggalah ia bersara pada 28 Februari 1998. Encik Jaafar juga menjadi guru besar kepada Sekolah Kebangsaan Perumahan Tampoi 2. Beliau merupakan satu-satunya guru besar kepada 2 buah sekolah dalam masa yang sama.

Tenaga pengajar SKTC pada waktu itu adalah terdiri dari guru-guru yang dipindahkan dari sekolah-sekolah di sekitar Johor Bahru dan juga guru-guru baru lepasan maktab. Secara keseluruhannya tenaga pengajar terdiri dari guru-guru senior yang berpengalaman dan guru-guru muda yang bertenaga. Mereka mula ditempatkan pada 1 Disember 1996 untuk menjalankan tugas-tugas merintis pembukaan sekolah yang melibatkan usaha-usaha penyusunan perabot, penglebelan bilik-bilik, kerja-kerja keceriaan, kerja-kerja pengurusan dan dokumentasi.

Pada peringkat awal pembukaannya, murid-murid tahun 1 terdiri daripada murid-murid yang tinggal di persekitaran Taman Dahlia, Taman Cempaka, Taman Johor dan Taman Munsyi Ibrahim. Manakala murid-murid Tahun 2 hingga 6 datangnya dari sekolah-sekolah berhampiran seperti dari Sekolah Kebangsaan Perumahan SEDC, Sekolah Kebangsaan Perumahan Tampoi 1 dan Sekolah Kebangsaan Perumahan Tampoi 2 yang berpindah berdasarkan kedudukan rumah murid berkenaan.

Dari segi bangunan SKTC, ia siap dibina pada November 1996. Ia dilengkapi dengan 18 buah bilik darjah dan kelas-kelas khas. Pembinaan bangunan mengikut plan terkini Jabatan Pendidikan di mana keperluan bilik telah dipenuhi termasuk padang dan kantin.

Zulfahmi 63 Tiger logo – Muhammad Zulfahmi Khairuddin (born 20 October 1991) is a Malaysian motorcycle racer who currently competes in the Moto3 class in the Motorcycle World Championship. Zulfahmi first made his debut in the 125cc world championship at the 2009 Malaysian Grand Prix where he finished 20th place. In 2010, he competed in his first full season on board an Aprilia for the AirAsia-Sepang International Circuit. Then the 125cc class was replaced in 2012 by the Moto3 class.

Moto3 class are single-cylinder, 250cc, four-strokes engine with >55bhp power. Where Moto2 class specifications are Inline-four, 600cc, >140bhp.. and MotoGP class specs configurations are V-Twin / V4 / Inline-four, 1000cc & 240bhp.

Zulfahmi finally achieved his first ever Moto3 podium as he finished in second position at the 2012 Portuguese Grand Prix and achieved the first pole position by a Malaysian rider in any class at his home race October 2012. Zulfahmi led for most of the race, but finished second behind team-mate Sandro Cortese, after Sandro made a final-lap pass. At the end of the 2012 MotoGP campaign at Valencia, he claimed the 2nd podium of his career, and climbed from 17th on the grid to finish 3rd behind Danny Kent and Sandro Cortese in a dramatic thrilling race.

2014 season was not a good year for Zulfahmi personally, as he said the worst performance ever. And this year for 2015 season, after retired with Ongetta-AirAsia Honda Team, he joined SIC Racing Team and promised to compete back on track circuit to the finish-line.

SMJK Chung Hwa, Kelantan located at, Jalan Atas Banggol 15300, Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia. The school is one of the biggest and oldest schools in Kelantan, the existence of Chung Hwa National Type Secondary School could well be traced back as far as 1918 when a group of Chinese pioneers and some others together founded the Yeok Teck Chinese School at Jalan Tok Hakim. The school began classes on 17 February 1918 with more than 80 students, 2 teachers and Mr. Tan Siong Guan as the head of the school. It started off as a coed school but later changed to a girl school and renamed Wu-Pen Chinese Girls School, with Madam Yee Pau Ping as Headmistress.

About the same time as when Yeok Teck began operation, another Chinese school, the Yeok Cheng was set up for the convenience of the residents in a Chinese settlement at Kampung Cina a short distance from Kota Bharu down by the Kelantan River bank. Yeok Cheng began classes on 24th August 1918 with some 30 students and one teacher. Education at both Yeok Cheng and Yeok Teck was free and the cost running the schools was borne by the supportive Chinese community.

The school was revived and renamed Chung Hwa School in 1933 when Lee Cheng Ghiam, Tay Luen Kang and Fung Cheng Siu applied to the government to re-register the school. Classes resumed on July 20 the same year with Mr. Soon Yee Thong as the Headmaster and assisted by 5 teachers. Lee Cheng Ghiam was elected to the Board and Khor Choon Boi as the Treasurer. Unfortunately in 1935 due to some crisis and disagreement among the Board members, mass resignation followed and the school was closed for the second time. 0n November 15 the same year, Mah Kee Kiat was given a new mandate to revive the school. Mr. Yee Sou How was employed as the Headmaster with 5 assistant teachers. Classes began on 22 January, 1936 with about 160 pupils. By the end of that year enrollment rose to 204 and on the advice of the Chief Education Officer as well as the Health Department and the Town Board, a decision was made to build a new block of two-storey building accommodating 4 classrooms upstairs and a classroom cum assembly hall.
