Majlis Bandaraya Miri adalah di bawah Kementerian Kerajaan Tempatan & Pembangunan Komuniti (LGCD) Sarawak merupakan sebuah badan yang menguruskan pembangunan untuk Bandaraya Miri. Keluasan kawasan pentadbiran Majlis Bandaraya Miri ialah seluas 997.43 km persegi. Fungsi Majlis bertambah penting apabila Miri diiktiraf menjadi bandaraya pada 20 Mei 2005.

Tugas Utama Majlis Bandaraya Miri ialah menyediakan perkhidmatan-perkhidmatan awam dan bertanggungjawab untuk menguruskan hal ehwal Bandaraya Miri. Antara perkhidmatan-perkhidmatan yang disediakan ialah mengutip sampah, menyediakan lampu jalan, menyediakan sistem pembetungan dan perparitan, perkhidmatan pembayaran cukai rumah, pembayaran bil dan lain-lain di bawah bidang kuasanya.

Hasil daripada usaha yang dilakukan yang dilakukan oleh Majlis Bandaraya Miri, Bandaraya Miri telah berjaya mendapat tempat dalam pertandingan-pertandingan yang dianjurkan oleh pihak kerajaan di peringkat kebangsaan melalui lanskap tamannya yang cantik. Bandaraya Miri juga menjadi tumpuan pelancong-pelancong yang datang dari serata dunia dan seterusnya penyumbang kepada pembangunan ekonomi negara bagi sektor pelancongan.

IPTC – International Petroleum Technology Conference

The International Petroleum Technology Conference – IPTC is an annual event rotating between Asia Pacific and the Middle East. IPTC is organised to further the advancement of scientific and technological knowledge related to the exploration, development, production, transportation and processing of oil and natural gas. It is a collaborative effort among the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE), the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). The synergy of these four leading, individual member-driven societies provides the most comprehensive opportunity to form multi‑disciplinary committees and an outstanding technical programme.

The 8th International Petroleum Technology Conference – IPTC will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on the 10th – 12th December 2014. The conference is set to take place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre – KLCC, returning to Malaysia for the first time since 2008.

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, Kajang terletak di Km 22, Jalan Cheras, Selangor. Sejarah penubuhannya bermula pada tahun 1959 dengan penubuhan Darjah Menengah Melayu sebagai sekolah menengah Melayu pertama di Daerah Hulu Langat. Penubuhan Darjah Menengah Melayu berkait rapat dengan perkembangan pendidikan aliran Bahasa Melayu di Malaysia selaras dengan perkembangan pendidikan kebangsaan iaitu pendidikan untuk semua kaum menggunakan Bahasa Melayu sebagai bahasa pengantar utama.

Pada awalnya, Darjah Menengah Melayu yang ditubuhkan ini tidak mempunyai bangunan sekolah sendiri hinggalah di awal tahun 1960an, Darjah Menengah Melayu mengalami pertambahan bilangan kelas serta murid kerana sambutan masyarakat yang begitu baik. Ini mendorong kerajaan membina sebuah sekolah menengah di Batu 14, Jalan Cheras, Kajang dan siap penghujung tahun 1963. Sekolah ini mula dibuka pada Januari 1964 dengan nama Sekolah Menengah Melayu yang menumpang di Sekolah Rendah Lelaki Kajang berpindah ke sekolah ini.

Pada 5 Mei 1967, sekolah ini telah dirasmikan dan ditukar namanya kepada Sekolah Menengah Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah. Nama ini adalah bersempena dengan nama perasminya iaitu DYMM Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Ibni Almarhum Sultan Hishamuddin Alam Shah, Sultan Selangor pada ketika itu.. via wiki

The history of Yemen Airways goes back to the second 40s. From 1949 until 1977, Yemen Airways had experienced moderate developments and different kinds of structural reforms, and owned by Ahmad bin Yahya, then King of Yemen. When the Yemen Arab Republic was proclaimed in 1962, Yemen Airlines was issued a new airline licence on 4 August of that year (which remains valid until today), thus becoming the flag carrier of the country, with its head office in the Ministry of Communication Building in Sana’a. In 1967, the airline entered a co-operation with United Arab Airlines, which lasted until 1972. During that period, it was known as Yemen Arab Airlines.

In July 1978 Yemen Airways took a big step forward and new Company, Yemenia – (Yemen Airways) was formed with 51% share by Yemen government and 49% by Saudi Arabia government. The formation of Yemenia had reflected an ideal international investment that is lasting until today. We can say that 1978 is considered as a landmark in the Aviation history of Yemen. NKRA – Against Corruption

As Malaysia moving towards Vision 2020 inspired by the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamad, the Government Transformation Programme (GTP) introduced by Dato’ Seri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak, the Prime Minister are consistent with the principle of 1Malaysia – ‘People First, Performance Now’. In accordance with the introduction to GTP, the Prime Minister had launch 6 National Key Result Areas (NKRA), and one of them, (also the no. 1 of the list) is Fighting Corruption.

Introduction to the 6 NKRAs shows the government’s high commitment and consideration in making improvements in the areas that has directly being the priority and concerns of the peoples.  The selection of Fighting Corruption as one of the NKRA, is the government’s manifest as a responsibility to look after the public’s welfare and needs in total, to support the implementation and victory of other NKRA.

According to the Transparency International Corruption Perception Index (TICPI), Malaysia’s rank was at 56 in the year 2009 compared to rank 44 and 39 in 2006 and 2004. HRH Prime Minister have extended his intention to improve Malaysia’s rank to 30 to 35 in years to come through preventive steps and anti-corruption punitive. NKRA Anti-Corruption Lead Minister had pledge to give his full attention to the efforts of combating corruption within the community.

Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Jepak

Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Jepak atau SK Kampung Jepak, terletak di D/A Pejabat Pelajaran Gabungan Bintulu, Sarawak dengan memiliki sekitar 1018 orang pelajar, iaitu 530 pelajar lelaki dan 488 pelajar perempuan dan mempunyai seramai 52 orang guru pada 2009. SK Kampung Jepak telah dibina pada tahun 1955 di mana nama asalnya ialah “Sekolah Kampung Jepak Primary School”. Ia dibina kerana kerumitan dan kesulitan penduduk kampung yang terpaksa menghantar anak mereka bersekolah ke seberang sungai Batang Kemena iaitu di Sekolah Orang Kaya Mohamad dan SR St. Anthony.

Satu jawatankuasa khas kampung yang dinamakan komuniti sekolah telah ditubuhkan untuk membina sekolah ini secara bergotong-royong, Mereka terdiri daripada ketua kampung dan pemimpin-pemimpin Kampung Jepak serta penduduk daripada tiga buah kampung iaitu Kampung Jepak, Kampung Sebuan Kecil dan Kampung Sebuan Besar.

Bentuk asal bangunannya adalah berbentuk bangsal dan mempunyai dua bilik darjah dan sesi persekolahan pertama di sekolah ini bermula pada 1 Januari 1966 dengan hanya dua orang tenaga pengajar dan 80 orang murid yang bersekolah di sini. Kemudiannya dibina pula bangunan kedua pada 1962 dan dibina dari papan dan beratap kayu berlian yang didirikan oleh Bintulu District Council. Hanya terdapat empat buah bilik darjah dan kemudiannya bangunan ini dirobohkan pada 13 November 1986 dengan bangunan yang dibina daripada konkrit. Sekolah ini merupakan sekolah Gred A di kawasan Bintulu.

Sekolah Menengah Sains Tengku Muhammad Faris Petra or SMSTMFP is a premier government funded secondary boarding school (Sekolah Berasrama Penuh) in Pengkalan Chepa, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Established in 1973 under the Second Malaysia Plan to obey with Malaysian New Economic Policy, the school is located about 9 km northeast of the state capital Kota Bharu and about 1.5 km southeast of the Sultan Ismail Petra Airport. In 2011,the school was awarded with the High Performance School, (Sekolah Berprestasi Tinggi) title, awarded to schools in Malaysia that have met stringent criteria including academic achievement, strength of alumni, international recognition, network and linkages.

It was one of the ten new residential science schools built by the Malaysian Government in the wake of the 1971 Malaysian New Economic Policy to give education with a science bias to selected pupils, predominantly Malays. Its original name was Sekolah Menengah Sains Kelantan, which means Kelantan Secondary Science School.

It officially opened in 1973 with six classes and eleven teachers, but the students had to reside in the nearby Sekolah Menengah Ismail Petra (SMIP) until the present campus was ready at the start of 1974. In 1986 the name was changed to Tengku Muhammad Faris Petra Science Secondary School, named after the crown prince of Kelantan, His Royal Highness Tengku Muhammad Faris Petra.

In 2012, the school have been honored with Premier SBP title which grant itself to stand tall with other premier SBP such as MCKK, STF and STAR. For the recent PMR examination, the school managed to produced 112 students with straight A’s out of 148 (75.68%) with GPS of 1.05 and become the best in Kelantan. The students of the school bears the name Farisian.

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Ismail Petra

 

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Ismail Petra terkenal dengan akronimnya SMIP berdasarkan nama asalnya, Sekolah Menengah Ismail Petra. SMK Ismail Petra merupakan sekolah kawalan aliran Melayu terawal yang ditubuhkan di negeri Kelantan. Pada awal penubuhannya, pada 5 Januari 1969 sekolah ini menumpang di Sekolah Menengah Putera, dengan memakai nama Sekolah Menengah Wakaf Mek Zainab, dan dibuka secara rasmi pada 20 Mac 1969. Setahun kemudian, iaitu pada 20 Mac 1970, sekolah ini telah berpindah ke bangunan sendiri di lokasi sekarang ini dan memakai nama Sekolah Menengah Ismail Petra, bersempena nama Yang Teramat Mulia Tengku Ismail Petra Ibni Sultan Yahya Petra, Tengku Mahkota Negeri Kelantan ( sekarang merupakan Sultan Kelantan ).

SMIP kemudiannya menjadi sekolah perintis Pengarah Pelajaran Negeri Kelantan (YBhg Tan Sri Datuk Seri Wira Abd. Rahman Arshad) bagi projek Sekolah Kawalan Khas pelajar aliran Melayu di Kelantan pada tahun 1971. Di bawah projek sekolah kawalan ini, pelajar-pelajar Melayu yang cemerlang dari seluruh negeri Kelantan dipilih untuk belajar di SMIP, bermula di Tingkatan 4 dan 6 Bawah. Seterusnya, status sekolah kawalan khas ini kekal sehingga ke hari ini melalui program Sekolah Rancangan Khas Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia.

SMIP merupakan sekolah ‘premier’ aliran Melayu terulung yang pernah ditubuhkan di negeri Kelantan. Sebagai sebuah sekolah yang ulung, SMIP telah banyak melakarkan sejarah kejayaan dan pencapaian cemerlangnya di persada pendidikan negeri dan kebangsaan. SMIP telah berjaya melahirkan ramai tokoh pelajar yang menjadi tokoh-tokoh terkenal di seluruh negeri dan negara dalam pelbagai bidang sama ada pendidikan, ekonomi, politik, sukan dan kemasyarakatan.

Eastern Sabah Security Command ESSCOM

The Eastern Sabah Security Command – ESSCOM is a Malaysian security area that covers 1,400 km of the East Coast of Sabah from Kudat (North) to Tawau (East South). Established by the Malaysian Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Najib Abdul Razak, ESSCOM was announced on 7 March 2013 by Musa Aman, the Chief Minister of Sabah. Headquartered at Lahad Datu, ESSCOM was setup to strengthen maritime security in the eastern part of Sabah following the 2013 invasion crisis and prevent terrorist activities in the waters of Sabah, while at the same time ensuring the safety of the people and tourist in Sabah and protecting business activities.

On February 2014, the Malaysian government announced plans to further extend the ESSCOM area to reach Sarawak. Ministry of Defence, Hishammuddin Hussein in his statement said discussions would be held with the government of Brunei, the Sarawak state government and oil and gas companies operating in the waters before the move was implemented.

On 8 July 2014, Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak announced the restructuring of the ESSCOM with the setting up of two major components – security and defence management as well as enforcement and public action.. wiki

ESSCOM merupakan “ejen penguatkuasaan keselamatan” bagi ESSZONE yang merangkumi 10 daerah itu, dan diwujudkan khusus bagi menjaga kedaulatan dan keselamatan kawasan pantai timur negeri ini ekoran krisis pencerobohan di Tanduo, Lahad Datu. Pewujudan ESSZONE turut menyaksikan penubuhan satu jawatankuasa menurut Peraturan-Peraturan PemeliharaanKeselamatan Awam 2013 yang digubal oleh Menteri Dalam Negeri.

Jawatankuasa ESSZONE itu dipengerusikan oleh Ketua Menteri Sabah, Datuk Seri Musa Aman manakala PerdanaMenteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak mempengerusikan jawatankuasa pemantau.

MyGAP was launched by the Minister of Agriculture (MOA) and Agro-based Industry on 28 August 2013. It is a comprehensive certification scheme for agricultural, aquaculture and livestock sector.

MyGAP is implemented based on Malaysian Standard (MS). MS 1784:2005 Crop Commodities – Good Agricultural Practice is used for agricultural sector module and MS 1998:2007 Good Aquaculture Practice (GaqP) – Aquaculture Farm – General Guidelines and MS 2467:2012 – Code of Practice for Seaweed Cultivation used for aquaculture sector module. Whereas MS 2027:2006 Good Animal Husbandry Practice is for livestock sector.

Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) is an agricultural practice which emphasises on environment, economy and social aspects to ensure the produce is safe and of good quality. MyGAP is an Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) initiative under the Strategic Reform Initiatives – Competition, Standard and Liberalisation (SRI-CSL) which is an enabler to the National Key Economic Area – Agriculture (NKEA – Agriculture).

• Reduces environment pollution and assist in developing an environmentally friendly and sustainable national agricultural industry.
• Since GAP is recognised worldwide, it facilitates the export of the products.
• One certification scheme facilitates the implementation of Good Agricultural Practices certification.
• Guarantees the safety and welfare of the staff.
• Encourages and facilitates the acceptance of consumers towards agricultural, livestock and aquaculture products with only one certification.
• Unlike SALM, SPLAM and SALT, GAP is more commercialised and will not confuse the consumers and entrepreneurs.
• Facilitates and reduces the promotional costs as consumers are already very familiar with GAP products.

Aras Kuasa Sdn Bhd (AKSB) was incorporated as a private company in Malaysia since June 2004 and has its humble beginning as a medium size iron ore mining operated in Kota Tinggi, Johore.

Our main activity is Iron ore mining, manganese, gold & bauxite mining. We are running 6 iron mining in Malaysia

On 2005 and onwards, when there was a huge demand of iron ore from china, we were prepared and have exported 1,500,000mt to date.
