Institut Penyiaran Tun Abdul Razak diwujudkan pada tahun 1971 sebagai Pusat Latihan Penyiaran Negara bertempat di Dewan Tunku Abdul Rahman, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur. Pada tahun 1974, pusat latihan ini dipindahkan ke Bangunan IPTAR, Kompleks Angkasapuri.
IPTAR sebagai sebuah institusi nasional menyediakan kursus-kursus profesional dalam bidang penyiaran. IPTAR melaksanakan tujuh program latihan penyiaran untuk meningkatkan prestasi pegawai-pegawai RTM.

SCORE stands for SME Competitiveness Rating for Enhancement was introduced as an assessment tool to measure the level of growths of enterprises. SCORE+ is a “scorecard and survey” all in one of ICT SME companies that will illuminate their competitiveness or lack off, in a systematic framework.
The benefits of SCORE includes:
• Addressing weaknesses of SMEs as more focused approach and provide integrated, hand-holding assistance to SMEs.
• Facilitating linkages of potential SMEs with large companies/ MNCs / retailers.
• Assisting SMEs in a better coordinated and structured form as SME CORP can concentrate on improving the capacity building of 3-Star companies and below, while the 4 and 5-Star companies can be groomed and launched into international market
The objective of SCORE are:
• To evaluate and track SME’s capabilities and performance in management, operation management, technology adoption, certification initiatives, financial capability and marketing capability.

GoPro
GoPro is an American manufacturer and markets high-definition personal cameras, often used in extreme action video photography. With their tagline “We make the World’s Most Versatile Camera. Wear it. Mount it. Love it.” GoPro known for being compact, lightweight, rugged, wearable or mountable in unusual places such as outside a quad-copter, planes, cars, boats, bicycle and motorcycle helmets or army tanks. The cameras capture still photos and videos in HD through a wide-angle lens and can be configured to work automatically with minimum intervention or remotely.
The company was established since 2002 as Woodman Labs Inc., by the founder Nicholas Woodman and later changed to GoPro Inc. The history started when he surf trip to Indonesia in which he was hoping to capture quality action photos of his surfing, but could not because amateur photographers could not get close enough, or obtain quality equipment at accessible prices. His desire for a camera system that could capture the professional angles inspired the ‘GoPro’ name.

Incheon 2014 Asian Games
The 17th Asian Games Incheon, 2014 or Incheon 2014 Asian Games will be held on 19th Sept. – 4th Oct. 2014 (16 days) in Incheon Metropolitan City, South Korea where it is geographically located as the hub city of Northeast Asia. Incheon 2014 Asian Games also known as XVII Asiad featuring 439 events in 36 sports and will welcome approximately 20,000 participants – 13,000 athletes & officials and 7,000 media from 45 National Olympic Committees.
This year Incheon which was selected after defeating Delhi, India in 2007, being the third city in South Korea after Seoul (1986) and Busan (2002) to host the Asian Games. Three new events will be included, there are Archery – Compound (Men’s / Women’s Individual, Team), Triathlon – Mixed Relay, Judo – Men’s / Women’s Team.
The Logo – The shape of the letter ‘A’ for Asia to project the image of Asians soaring together, hand-in-hand, with their wings spread wide.
The Mascot – Three character of seals wre introduced as Vichuon (light), Chumuro (dance) and Barame (wind), harbor seal siblings, inhabiting Baekryeong lsland off the coast of Incheon.
The Slogan – “Diversity Shines Here” is the official slogan of the Games which represents and highlights the significance of Asia’s wonderful diversity in history, cultures, and religions.
